You can now apply for your IELTS test online.


N.B. You must still send the following:

1 - The fee

2 - Your two passport photographs

IF YOU EMAIL THE PHOTOGRAPHS - THEY MUST CONFORM TO THE FOLLOWING :

These are the criteria for passport photo jpeg scans emailed to ielts@rlc.co.uk :

size 3.7x3.7cm > 4.0x4.0cm
file size: 10kb or less resolution 150
colour grey / grey scaled
quality HIGH (not 'Maximum' if that is an option)

NB Scanners vary in their settings. Please approximate as near as possible.

Please name your jpeg as follows:

SURNAME + INITIALS - e.g. SMITH FG

If your photo is not accepted by our system, you will be emailed and asked to supply a compliant jpeg.


3 - A photocopy of your passport

The photocopy or scan for email must be at maximum quality.

If your photocopy or scan is not of adequate quality, you will be emailed and asked to supply a compliant photocopy or jpeg.


N.B. Your application does not guarantee acceptance.


You will be sent automatic emails, which are described below.

The first indicating receipt of your application.

Another indicating that your application has been accepted (i.e. after we have received your fee etc.)

N.B. You will be sent a centre specific letter / email giving you details of test venue and times. This is the most important communication. Please read it carefully..
